About Me:

This paragraph is just a brief introduction of what to expect from this website. I wanted to make this similar to a blog to show a personal outlook on how I view love in the world, where to find it if you feel lost, and how to better yourself as a person through love! It is a powerful, beautiful, and raw emotion that most people really can’t put into words; I am here to change that. I may not have all the answers, but other people’s perceptions can really alter how people interpret their own opinions. View this site as a guide, and relatable perspective on how others perceive love. My target audience is people who are curious about how powerful of an emotion love really is, or maybe someone who just wants to see the emotion expressed through a different point of view. I hope to unlock a different, and more creative side of me through this website, and am most looking forward to showing the interview portion, because of how much work went into it!

Get to know the Author!

Personal Background: As I specify in the next post “What’s love got to do with it?”; Music is one of the most pivotal portions of my life, and what made me who I am today. I don’t think I could have came as far as I did without it. It is my comfort during hard times, my motivation when I need strength, and my escape when the world feels overwhelming; which it does…99% of the time. Each song I connect with tells a different part of my story, helping me understand myself and others better. The reason why I am making this such a huge piece of my site is because music doesn’t just fill the silence, but also heals, inspires, and reminds me that I am never alone in how I feel. I translate this feeling all back to love, and how I can go from feeling like all is lost to completely content at the sound of my favorite song.

My Favorites: Food- Sushi, Movie- The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Scents- Vanilla & Coconut, Color- Pink, Season’s- Summer & Fall, and Animal’s- Miniature Dachshund & Jellyfish.

Collegiate Backstory: Initially I went to a community college known as San Jacinto Community College (SJCC) in Houston TX; which is where I am from (born and raised). At this college my initial plan was to go for Radiography, and either just graduate with an associates, or transfer after two years to University. I ended up going to community for one year changing my major to Cosmetology a year in, and this fall semester having courses there to truly begin the program. Suddenly over the last few weeks of summer I started really thinking about my future, and if that was the path I actually wanted to pursue. I ended up getting accepted into Texas State University set to begin the Journalism program this semester, and now here I am! I now have a set plan to graduate with a bachelors in Broadcasting journalism in the next few years, and either get into sports reporting, or reporting for a news channel. Hopefully even branching out, and starting my own podcast in the near future after gaining some more experience. I also will be starting KTSW 89.9 next semester; which is Texas State’s radio channel; Where I will be a Podcast Producer & Podcast Co-Host!

Fun Facts: Other than my super cool major, and great music taste; I am also fond of other things like Art, fashion, modeling, baking, etc. I never claimed to be good at any of those things, but I still like to try…You can find me at the square with friends on weekends, or laid back by a fire on my property in the hill country; no in between. As you can probably infer from majority of the content in this all about me I tend to be a little all over the place. I am Christian, my childhood best friend was my dog named Bear, I love getting ready for no reason, and I am obsessed with anything pink or covered with chocolate!
